Green/Sustainability Award Finalist 2022

SureCav Limited is proud to announce that we have reached the finals of the National Building and Construction Awards 2022 for the Green/Sustainability award 2022.

SureCav is committed to reducing the CO2 in the construction industry and feels proud that we have been selected to be one of the seven finalists. The national building and construction awards are due to announce the winners in November 2022 at their ceremony evening at the London Hilton Wembley on the 17th November 2022.

SureCav has been recognised for its consistent strive and commitment towards reducing the environmental damage attributed to the construction industry. SureCav hopes to inspire others through reaching the finals in the construction industry to make better choices for a brighter future. SureCav provides a sustainable solution to concrete backing blocks. So far SureCav has replaced the need of 134,000 tonnes of concrete (7.4million blocks) and instead, using 1,800 tonnes of 100% recycled plastic in its place! This number of blocks would take 6700 lorries to deliver, whereas to cover the same m2 area, SureCav can do it in 226 lorries.

The finals in themselves are a great achievement but we hope to push on further from here and make a real impact to the CO2 reduction across the construction industry.
